Veterans Park Pickleball and Tennis Courts Project
Veterans Park Tennis & Pickleball Court Project
Location: Veterans Park, Claremont, NH
Timeline: Construction began Late Winter 2024 | Completion October 2025
Project Overview
The Veterans Park Tennis & Pickleball Court Project is a much-anticipated investment in Claremont’s recreational future. This project will bring brand-new, modern tennis and pickleball courts to Veterans Park, offering high-quality, inclusive outdoor spaces for players of all ages and abilities.
With the former Moody Park courts removed and the existing courts at Monadnock Park beyond repair, the need for updated facilities has been a longstanding concern. As pickleball continues to surge in popularity, both locally and regionally, this project directly addresses that demand while also restoring tennis opportunities within the city.
Cost & Funding
The total project cost is $394,000.00, made possible through a combination of federal funding and grant support:
- $300,000.00 allocated from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) by the City of Claremont
- $299,902.50 awarded through a Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) Grant
Contractor: Pine Hill Construction
