Semi-Annual Tax Billing Informational Notice

The City of Claremont will be issuing tax bills semi-annually effective May 2024. The first installment bill will be due on July 1st, 2024. The second installment due date varies depending on the date the tax rate is set. This installment should be postmarked sometime in November or December 2024.

If your mortgage company escrows your taxes, please notify them of the change. We will be making every effort to contact the tax service companies but not all banks and mortgage companies use these services. We appreciate your understanding as we transition from quarterly to semi-annual billing.

The Collections Department does accept prepayments prior to mailing tax bills. Residents may also make weekly or monthly payments to reduce interest costs.
