RFP: DPW Cemetery Backhoe

The City of Claremont’s Department of Public Works is soliciting formal proposals for the purchase of a backhoe for the Cemetery Department or suitable substitutes, with various attachments.
 
Attached are the specifications for this vehicle and a Bid Sheet to submit your proposal. Please note attachments are to be priced separately and maybe illuminated as funding allows. There will be no trade-in opportunities with this purchase.
 
Proposals will be accepted at the Office of the City Manager, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH 03743, on Thursday, February 29th, 2024, at 10:00am, at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud.  Please mark “Cemetery Backhoe” on the outside of the sealed envelope.
 
Persons submitting proposals should note on the bid sheet any deviations from the specifications. Persons submitting should also note any options that in their opinion would be mission critical for its use in a municipal public works department.  Any recommended options should be priced separately.
 
Included in your bid should be proposed delivery date of the backhoe and attachments, to the City of Claremont. 
 
The City of Claremont reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept the proposal to be in the City’s best interest.
