RFP for CDBG Grant Writing

CDBG Grant Writing Request for Proposals

The City of Claremont, NH requests written proposals from qualified firms or individuals interested in being considered for hire to write one Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Application with the City reserving the option to request additional services for grant administration and other grant application writing tasks.

Principal Grant Application Writing Services

  • The principal services to be provided are for the CDBG Grant Application for a proposed CDBG-CV/CDBG public facility application for up to $750,000 toward the rehabilitation of The Claremont Learning Center building at 169 Main Street. CDBG Applications are due no later than July 25, 2022.

Possible Additional Services

  • A possible second application would be a housing application for up to $500,000 for primarily energy improvement to the Claremont Housing Authority’s property at 243 Broad St. CDBG Applications are due no later than July 25, 2022.
  • The selected firm or individual may be requested to submit a quote for grant administrator services.
  • Specific grant writing services to include assisting the municipality with the required public hearing, compiling all forms and information required by the application, coordinating all information required and all actions required to prepare a CDBG application on NHCDFA’s Grant Management System (GMS) for the municipality.

Community Development Block Grants from the NH Community Development Finance Authority are under the provisions, and subject to the requirements, of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended.
