RFP: DPW - Water Dump Truck with Plow Equipment

City of Claremont, New Hampshire
The City of Claremont’s Department of Public Works is soliciting formal proposals for the purchase of one (1) new heavy-duty truck chassis equipped for now plowing, sanding, and general winter maintenance operations. The vehicle shall be new, current production, and fully compliant with all applicable federal and state regulations.
Attached are the specifications for the vehicle and a Bid Sheet for you to submit your proposal.
- Proposal due date is Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the Office of the City Manager, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH 03743. Please mark "RFP - DPW - Water Dump Truck with Plow Equipment" on the outside of the sealed envelope. Unsealed, late, emailed, or faxed proposals will not be accepted.
- Bid opening date is Friday, April 3rd, 2026, at 10:15 AM, located in City Council Chambers, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH 03743.
Persons submitting proposals should note on the bid sheet any deviations from the specifications. Persons submitting should also note any options that in their opinion would be mission critical for its use in a municipal public works department. Any recommended options should be priced separately. The City of Claremont reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept the proposal to be in the City’s best interest.
