RFP for purchase of a 2020 410L Backhoe

The City of Claremont’s Department of Public Works is soliciting formal proposals for the purchase of a 2020 410L Backhoe.
 

Specifications for this vehicle and a Bid Sheet to submit your proposal are available here.  Trade allowances for the backhoe will include (unit #40) – a 2014 John Deere 410L – VIN:  1T0410TKLEE268557

Proposals will be accepted at the Office of the City Manager, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH 03743, on Friday, October 30,2020 @ 10:00 AM – at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud.  Please mark “Backhoe” on the outside of the sealed envelope.

Persons submitting proposals should note on the bid sheet any deviations from the specifications.  Persons submitting should also note any options that in their opinion would be mission critical for its use in a municipal public works department.  Any recommended options should be priced separately.

Included in your bid, should be proposed delivery date of cab/chassis to the equipment vendor.

The City of Claremont reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept the proposal to be in the City’s best interest.
