Claremont City Council Appoints Rick Bergeron as Interim City Manager

Claremont, NH — The Claremont City Council voted last evening to enter into an agreement with retired Fire Chief Richard "Rick" Bergeron to serve as the City's Interim City Manager, effective after July 24.

Mr. Bergeron brings a wealth of experience and institutional knowledge to the position, having dedicated 40 years of service to the City of Claremont. Throughout his distinguished career, he served as Fire Chief and previously stepped into the role of Acting City Manager when needed, providing steady leadership and continuity for the organization.

The City Council is confident that Mr. Bergeron's extensive municipal experience and commitment to the community will be invaluable as he guides the city during this transition period.

"We are pleased to welcome Rick Bergeron back to City Hall in this important leadership role," said the Claremont City Council. "His experience, professionalism, and deep understanding of our community make him exceptionally well-qualified to serve as Interim City Manager."
