Ashley Ferry Update
September 24, 2024
from NH Fish and Game (9/24)
The public boat access facility on the Connecticut River known as "Ashley Ferry" in Claremont reopened on September 25th.
The ADA compliant remote loading platform still needs railings and will open in the near future. The platform has been fenced in for safety. We anticipate that the railing will be installed in the second week of October. Pavement stripping is planned for mid-October. The ramp will remain open while the railing is installed but the ramp will likely be closed for a few hours when the striping occurs to allow the two coats of paint to dry. A notice will be published on our website and Facebook page for the striping event.
