Go Back City Clerk

City of Claremont Assessing Department

In recognition of our current State of Emergency, the Assessing Department will continue to be available to residents needing to conduct business on a limited service basis.  We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may cause, however these measures have been enacted for the safety of our citizens and staff.

We strongly encourage you to call or email our office with any questions.

Forms and applications are available to download and print from our web site – www.claremontnh.com.  If you require a paper copy to be mailed out to you, please contact our office.  Please call or email the assessing staff for copies of property record cards.  If you need to drop off forms or applications that cannot be emailed, faxed, or mailed please contact our office and we will make arrangements.

Currently all interior inspections BY THE ASSESSORS have been halted until further notice.
If you have questions regarding your assessed value or if you would like to discuss your assessment, we ask that you call our office or email the assessing staff.

The City continues to work with Vision Government Solutions to assist with the 2020 Cyclical Inspections.  Vision’s Appraisal division will be working closely with the Assessing Department to make the process successful for the City.

In the next few months a Vision Government Solutions field inspector may be in your area to visit your home and request an inspection.

Due to current health concerns the data collector will only be measuring the exterior of your home.  These inspections will take approximately 10 - 15 minutes.  A letter will be sent for an opportunity to review interior information at a future date.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions about the process or need additional information, please contact the Assessor’s Office at (603) 504-0295.  You may also gather more information about the project on a direct link at http://www.claremontnh.com/residents/departments/assessor located on the Assessor’s page of the City website.

All Vision or City employees carry photo identification, a letter from the Assessing Office, and will have checked in with the Police Department.  Please contact the Assessor's Office for further verification.
