Seasonal Concession Stand
CONCESSION STAND ATTENDANT Claremont Parks & Recreation Department is seeking to fill the seasonal position(s) of Concession Stand Attendants. Responsibilities include • Greeting customers in a friendly manner at the entry of the outdoor pool. • Selling concession products. • Accurately collecting appropriate fees & making correct change. • Inventory of concession stand merchandise at the start & end of each shift. • Reconciling monies at the end of every shift. • Notifying Aquatics Director immediately of discrepancies in cash drawer & when reordering must be done. • Answering patrons questions (in person & on the phone). • Cleaning the office area during shift to provide a neat & clean appearance to patrons. • Assisting Life Guarding staff with opening & closing duties as needed. Hours and shifts will vary depending on the needs of the position and the availability of employees. Previous retail experience preferred. Rate of pay is $7.75 to $7.90 hour.
