Workplace Health and Safety

The City of Claremont is dedicated to the health and safety of all of its employees. The City follows the Department of Labor's safety requirements. We have formed a Joint Loss Management Committee (JLMC) also know as the Safety Committee. This committee meets quarterly to review any accidents or incidents affecting workers' health and safety and to conduct workplace safety inspections. The committee makes recommendations as needed. The committee is comprised of both management and employees.
