Licensing Board

The duties of the Licensing Board shall consist of granting licenses and permits as may be required by State law and Claremont City Code.


Term: 2 years for the Citizen seat; while holding position for the City Manager and Police Chief
Meeting: As needed
Make-up: The Licensing Board for the City shall consist of the City Manager, the Chief of Police, and a third member to be elected by the City Council.  The member of the Board elected by the City Council shall serve at the pleasure of the City Council, and shall serve without pay.  Neither the Manager nor the Chief of Police shall be entitled to compensation for services as members of the Board in addition to compensation paid to them as Manager and Chief of Police.
