Commercial Window Cleaning
For the City Center

The City of Claremont is seeking qualifications and fee schedules from qualified window cleaning businesses that are interested in performing window cleaning at Claremont City Hall and the City Center Parking Garage. Both structures feature windows positioned in excess of 30 feet from the ground.  Parties that are interested should submit their qualifications and pricing in separately sealed envelopes, no later than Tuesday, April 2nd, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.  Please send them to City of Claremont, City Manager’s Office, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, N.H. 03743.  RFQ’s must be clearly marked “Window Cleaning Qualifications” and “Window Cleaning Pricing.”  Interested parties with questions should contact Thomas Krebs in the Planning and Development Department, at 603-504-0349 or tkrebs@claremontnh.com.

Sealed bids for the Belding Street and Myrtle Street Sidewalk Improvements will be received by the City of Claremont, at the City Manager’s Office, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH  03743, until 2:00 PM local time on, April 12, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The proposed project is a reconstruction of existing sidewalk infrastructure along Belding Street (between North Street and Hanover Street) for an approximate distance of 1,250 feet and Myrtle Street (between Frost Street and Tyler Street) for an approximate distance of 290 feet.  Work shall include, but not be limited to, maintaining alternating one-way traffic control, installing temporary pedestrian detour signage, demolition of the existing sidewalk infrastructure, installation of granite curbing, construction of bituminous concrete sidewalks and concrete ADA tip-downs, construction of associated driveway aprons and applying pavement markings.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.  Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.  The anticipated project schedule is to start construction on or about June 3, 2019 and complete construction by August 5, 2019.

Once the bidder requests plans via the above website, an email will be sent to the email address provided containing a link to download the bid documents and plan set.

Prequalification:  All Bidders (Prime Contractor or Contractor/Subcontractors Teams) must be listed by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation as prequalified for Road and/or site work.    See Instructions to Bidders.

No pre-Bid conference will be held. Bid Security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.  No Bidder may withdraw a bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.


The City of Claremont is seeking bid proposals, plainly marked with the “Annual Fuel Bid – 2019-2020” on the outside of the mailing envelope, addressed to the City Manager’s Office, City Hall, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH 03743, will be accepted until 11:00 a.m., March 14, 2019 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:

Addenda to this bid document, if any, including written answers to questions, will be posted on the City of Claremont website here under the project heading.

Addenda and updates will NOT be sent directly to vendors. Questions may be addressed to the Finance Director. Vendors may bid on one type of fuel only if they choose.

The City of Claremont reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid that it may deem to be in the best interest of the City.

Sidewalk & Rail Trail Improvements Project
Transportation Alternative Program (TAP)

Sealed proposals for the Claremont 40435, Sidewalk & Rail Trail Improvements Project will be received at the City of Claremont, ("The OWNER"), City Manager’s Office, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH 03743, until 2:00 p.m. (local time), Wednesday March 20, 2019 and will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after the specified time will not be accepted. The active construction is anticipated to run between June and August 2019. Bidders should note that the prices contained in the proposal will be considered valid for the duration of the construction project.

This Federally funded Transportation Alternative Program (TAP) project involves installing sidewalk on the south side of East Street between Pleasant Street and Broad Street (approximately 1,600 feet), including ADA compliant ramps and crosswalks. Additionally, the project will also include surface improvements to the rail trail between Pleasant Street and Chestnut Street (approximately 2,400 ft.), provide pedestrian crossing improvements at its intersections with Broad Street and Chestnut Street, and formalize the trailhead parking area at Pleasant Street.

The City of Claremont (City), New Hampshire is accepting Bid Proposals for their roadway paving project beginning in May 2019 and ending no later than September 2019.

Proposals may be mailed or hand delivered to the Office of the City Manager, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont NH 03743.  All proposals must be sealed in an envelope clearly marked “EAST STREET PAVING PROJECT” on the outside of the envelope no later than 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 19, 2019.  Bid Proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud at that time.
