City of Claremont Restroom Facility The City of Claremont (City) is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or firms licensed by the State of New Hampshire to complete design/build of an ADA compliant bathroom facility within City Hall. Request for Proposals

The City of Claremont, NH is seeking general surveying services proposals from qualified firms to develop a recordable boundary plat for two City owned parcels. Services are intended to be comprehensive and include all aspects of work needed to generate an existing boundary plan. The CONSULTANT must be a qualified surveyor, licensed to practice in the State of New Hampshire, with the ability to provide sufficient documentation and references as to their abilities to execute the desired work in the time frames indicated.Full bid packet available here.

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR PROPOSERS

Proposals are due by 3:00 PM, June 16, 2017, to the Claremont City Manager’s Office, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH 03743. They will be opened and read aloud at that time.
 
Questions regarding the Project Specifications should be addressed to the City Manager’s Office at 603-542-7002 or via email at drussell@claremontnh.com.  

1. The proposer must include with the Proposal a statement confirming full understanding of the Project as proposed. 

2. A proposer may withdraw his/her Proposal before the bid opening date by written request to the Claremont City Manager’s Office, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH, 03743. 

3. Any correction or modification to the Proposal shall be made before the bid opening date and time, in writing.  Any correction or modification must be sealed and clearly marked “Modification to Cyclical Data Collection RFP # 17-001”, with the name of the proposer.

4. A Proposal received after the time and date specified may not be considered.

5. The City of Claremont will determine which combination of price and service is in the best interest of the City of Claremont. 

6. Any additional hardware and associated costs must also be defined.  

7. The City of Claremont currently uses and is licensed to use the VISION Appraisal Technology     CAMA System.  The successful vendor will be required to utilize this system to its full capabilities and will be expected to establish a successful working relationship with the software supplier in order to ensure efficient and effective utilization.

8. Two copies of proposals must be provided.

 INVITATION TO BID for Rice reservoir spillway reconstruction

The City of Claremont, Claremont, New Hampshire is requesting bids from Contractors for the Reconstruction of the Rice Reservoir Spillway located at the Rice Reservoir Dam in Claremont, New Hampshire.

Sealed proposals must be received on or before 11:00am Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Claremont City Hall located at 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud at the above address.  The exterior of all envelopes containing bid proposals shall be clearly marked “Rice Reservoir Spillway Reconstruction”.

A mandatory pre-bid site walk will be held at the Rice Reservoir Dam located at the junction of Winter Street and Route 120 in Claremont, NH on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 @ 10:00 AM.  All Bidders must attend the pre-bid meeting.  Failure to attend the pre-bid meeting will automatically disqualify the Bidder.

All Bids must be made on the required Bid Form.  All blank spaces for Bid prices must be filled in, in ink or typewritten, and the Bid Form must be fully completed and executed when submitted.  Only one (1) original of the “Bid Form” is required.  A 5% Bid Bond is required with the Bid.  Labor, material, and performance bonds will be required.

Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of Bids or authorized postponement thereof.  Any Bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered.  No Bidder may withdraw a Bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.  Should there be reasons why the contract cannot be awarded within the specified period; the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Owner and the Bidder. 

Bidders must satisfy themselves of the accuracy of the scope of work identified in the Bid Documents by examination of the site and a review of the drawings and specifications, including Addenda, if any.  After Bids have been submitted, the Bidder shall not assert that there was a misunderstanding concerning the quantities of Work or the nature of the Work to be done.

All questions by prospective Bidders as to the interpretations of the information for Bidders, Bid Form, Agreement Form, Drawings, or the Specifications on the Drawings must be submitted in writing to the Engineer at least five (5) calendar days before the date therein set for the opening of Bids.  An interpretation of all questions so raised which, in the Engineer’s opinion, requires interpretation, will be emailed to known prospective Bidders as an Addendum at the emails given by them not later than five (5) calendar days before the date of opening Bids.

The City of Claremont seeks competitive bids for a ground-mounted solar photovoltaic installation at the City’s Wastewater Treatment Facility at 338 Plains Road. The successful respondent shall have the ability to design, engineer, permit, install, interconnect, monitor, evaluate, maintain, finance, commission, operate and eventually decommission this project. This Request for Proposals is part of a multi-phase effort to improve operational efficiency and reduce energy costs.

Historic Building Assessment

The City of Claremont requests proposals for a Historic Building Assessment with Preservation Guidelines (HBA) for the Claremont City Hall, located at 58 Opera House Square. The City Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the project is being partially funded by the NH Land and Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP). All worked outlined in the HBA must follow the Secretary’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties per LCHIP’s requirements. The purpose of this project is to create a road map for the reuse of the Claremont City Hall. The City of Claremont will use the completed HBA as a comprehensive planning tool for the proactive maintenance and future rehabilitation of the City Hall. The HBA may also be used to help secure funding for the identified preservation needs. Full details available here.

The City of Claremont invites Statements of Interest from qualified buyers/developers for the purchase and renovation of an 8500 square foot (gross area) two level building at 106 Broad Street in Claremont, NH.  The City is highly interested in receiving submissions proposing a use that would support economic development.  Responses should describe proposed end use and information on the buyer or development team.  Statements of interest and qualifications are to be received in a sealed envelope no later than Friday, May 5, 2017 by 2:00 p.m. at the City Manager’s office, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH 03743 with purchase price offered in a separate sealed envelope.
