The City of Claremont’s is seeking qualifications and fee schedules from qualified mowing and maintenance businesses that are interested in performing maintenance and lawn work as well as light duty maintenance on or around the City Center and the Parking Garage. Maintenance work will require on call availability year round. The City of Claremont’s is seeking proposals for Vegetation Control on select Islands, Curbs, and Sidewalks in the City Center. The areas for treatment are not 100% weed covered. For estimating purposes, the linear footage for treatment is approximately 76,000. Contractors must have an applicators license with the State of New Hampshire for handling pesticides and be familiar with the permitting process. The City of Claremont invites Statements of Interest from qualified buyers/developers for the purchase and renovation of a 14,492 square foot single level building on Winter Street in Claremont, NH.  The City is highly interested in receiving submissions proposing a use that would support economic development.  Responses should describe proposed end use and information on the buyer or development team.  Statements of interest and qualifications are to be received in a sealed envelope no later than Monday, May 20, 2013 by 2:00 p.m. at the City Manager’s office, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH 03743 with purchase price offered in a separate sealed envelope. Statements must be clearly marked Claremont Armory.  Specifications are available in the Planning and Development office at 542-7008 or by email at newbiz@claremontnh.com.  All responders are encouraged to meet with the Planning and Development staff and to visit the site.  The City of Claremont reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. The City of Claremont is requesting statement of qualifications from qualified engineering firms for the design to reconstruct approximately 2,700 linear feet of two lane urban road.
