CITY COUNCIL

The City Council meets in the City Hall Chambers the 2nd Wednesday of each month beginning at 6:30PM.

The City of Claremont operates under a City Council/City Manager form of government. A nine member City Council is elected, and elections are held in November. The City Council is responsible for establishing City policies, procedures, and fiscal management.

The City Manager is appointed by the City Council. He is responsible for supervising and conducting the day-to-day operations and affairs of the City and carrying out the policies established by the City Council.

There are 9 locally elected members of the City Council. The current Council is as follows:
