  • HALLOWESTA HALLOWEEN IN CLAREMONT
    Calling all ghosts and goblins, pirates and princesses, it’s nearly time for Hallowesta in Claremont! Sponsored by the Claremont Parks and Recreation Department, Hallowesta celebrates Halloween with a whole slate of great activities. This free event is open to all ages, so dress up in your best Halloween costume and join the fun. From 4:30 to 5:15 p.m., Trick or Treating will be held at participating businesses on Pleasant Street and Opera House Square. Look for the “Stop Here” Trick or Treat Sign. Line up begins for the Hallowesta parade at 5:15 p.m.; please meet between NCL Engraving and Twisted Fitness. At 5:30 p.m., participants will parade to Monadnock Park, from Pleasant Street south to Summer Street, left on Summer and crossing over Broad Street to Monadnock Park. Claremont Parks and Rec will provide a free wiener roast, marshmallows, apple cider and hay rides from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the park. - More

  • CLAREMONT CONSERVATION COMMISSION SITE MEETING AT MOODY PARK
    A special Claremont Conservation Commission Site Meeting will be held on Saturday, October 29th, at Moody Park. The rare on-location meeting will include an update on the Forest Management Plan and visiting Moody Park and adjoining city land owned by the CDA. The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. Those interested in attending this meeting are asked to meet at 152 Maple Ave, the Moody Park entrance, and park near the playground. The site visit will be conducted as a group. This is the first day of hunting season, so attendees are encouraged to wear bright colors and travel as a group. - More

    Don’t miss the Public Forum for the City Center Project on Friday October 21st!!! Join us at the Claremont Middle School from 5:00PM to 8:00 PM. We are looking for public input to assist in the reinvestment into the City Center following Claremont's receipt of Federal Grant money. There will be light refreshments available. Topics for discussion will be based on Parking, Non‐Conformities, Sense of Place, Infrastructure and Enforcement, Fire and City Service.
